Vaughn’s Pizzeria & Drafthouse was proud to support United Way of Denton County and the Denton County Homeless Coalition during their annual Point In Time (PIT) Count on January 22, 2025. We are proud to have helped the cause by donating pizza to Denton Area volunteers participating in the countywide effort.
The PIT Count is a federally mandated initiative conducted each year to better understand and address homelessness by gathering critical data across Denton County. The effort relies heavily on volunteers and community partners who give their time and energy to support those most in need.
“We’re grateful for the organizations and volunteers who show up for our community across Denton County,” said Nick Fopiano from Vaughn’s Pizzeria & Drafthouse. “Supporting the PIT Count was a small way for us to say thank you to the people doing important work on the ground and to show our gratitude for the people who want to see our community thrive.”
Vaughn’s Pizzeria & Drafthouse believes that strong communities are built through collective effort, especially from nonprofit leaders and volunteers to local businesses stepping in where they can. While the donation and participation was modest, we always want to support those who support Flower Mound and Denton County.
